The long-awaited LP release of the compilation series that allows you to experience the new disc guide "City Soul Disc Guide - Enjoy Soul, AOR & Blue Eyed Soul with City Pop" in a real way!

City Soul is a concept word to introduce soul, AOR & Blue Eyed Soul with a similar taste to city pop, which continues to be revived in popularity. It has been developed based on two books currently on sale, "City Soul Disc Guide" (published by DU BOOKS) and the compilation CD series "City Soul" (P-VINE), and has been well received. This product is the first analog record of the "City Soul" brand. It compiles 10 carefully selected songs from the approximately 100 songs recorded on all 5 CDs of the "City Soul" series. Almost all of the songs will be "world's first analog record".

Songs that will appeal to AOR fans include "Nothing You Can Do About It," a cover of a popular Airplay song by David Foster and Jay Graydon. Songs that will appeal to fans of blue-eyed soul include "Whatever I Do" by Samuel Purdy, performed by former members of Jamiroquai. In addition, there are 10 classic, popular, and topical songs, including "One in a Billion," a 90s R&B revival by a Taiwanese singer, and "This Summer," a song by a popular Japanese band with lyrics entirely in English. This is a disc that will appeal to listeners of all ages and will meet the needs of today's vinyl record buyers.

As with the previous series, this one includes a comprehensive Japanese commentary by Akira Obuchi (former editor-in-chief of bmr), author/editor of "City Soul Disc Guide," who has been introducing the Western music scene, mainly black music, for many years, in which he thoroughly explains the current "city soul" scene!
